CONNECTING A SUPPLY NETWORK
WITH M12 POWER CABLES
Power for equipment used to be supplied by connecting a cable from a centralised point to a decentralised  point. From the centralised point, a separate cable was needed to supply power to a motor, valve cluster or an individual valve. Using the M12 Power cables, power is transferred from the centralised point to the equipment with only one cable.

With T, H and h-splitters, the power transmission is distributed to the various decentralised points. In addition to this more cost-efficient solution it provides a better overview.

THE ADVANTAGES OF IO-LINK SENSORS
IO link is the first standardised IO technology (IEC 6131-9) in the world for communication between sensors and actuators.

The benefits of the SensoPart Sensors with IO link:
  • read out nominal values
  • simple sensor-parameter settings
  • diagnostic information on switching cycles and hardware errors
  • additional functions such as on/off delay
  • standardised communication technology enables fast and flawless signal transmission

speed monitoring to safety class PLe

When a machine is being calibrated, the machine must not run too fast. A stationary control relay is used to check whether the machine is actually stationary. The revolutions can be monitored by sensors such as encoders or inductive sensors. There are also speed control relays that can be connected directly to a motor, without the interference of sensors.
